Admissions Seekers for admission to BHM&CT/B.Pharma/MCA in Govt./Govt Aided/ Universities Department/ Private Institutes in the States of Haryana for the Session 2008-09.

This is in continuation to our earlier advertisement regarding admission seekers to AICTE approved BHM & CT/ B. Pharma/ MCA Courses in Govt. / Govt. Aided/ University Department/ Private Institutions in the State of Haryana for the Session 2008-09.

1. For BHM & CT there will be no entrance test. All the Candidates who have deposited the online test fee and could not register must contact HSCS office in person before 3.07.08. All the candidates who have deposited the online test admission fee and registered for test are requested to do online registration for counseling form 9.07.08 to 15.07.08. Thereafter, these candidates will proceed as per schedule mentioned in the in the key Dates. No fresh candidate shall apply now.
2. The date of on line test registration for B.Pharma Candidates who have deposited the online registration fee and failed to register online, have been extended till 28.06.2008, 9.00 a.m. The date of online test for B.Pharma has also been postponed to 30.6.08 form 27.06.08. Admit cards for entrance test will be available on http://onlinetesthry.nic.in from 28.06.08, 3.00 pm onwards. No fresh candidate shall apply now.
3. The date of on line test registration for MCA candidates who have deposited the online registration fee and failed to register online, have been extended till 30.06.08 9.00 a.m. Admit cards for entrance test will be available on http://onlinetesthry.nic.in from 30.06.08 3.00 pm onwards.

ADMISSION NOTICE

Applications are invited for admission to the 2008 batch of the following three courses of this Training Centre starting on 1st September, 2008.

1. 3 Year Diploma in Instrument Technology
2. 4 Year Advanced Diploma in Die & Mould Making
3. 4 Year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics & Industrial Automation
Selection for the courses at Sr. No. 2 & 3 above is decided after two years of common training in Instrument Technology. All these courses are approved by AICTE. The pass outs of this Centre are normally absorbed by industry through campus interviews.

Admission is open to BOTH BOYS & GIRLS. Hostel facility is available.

NUMBER OF SEATS: Total 70 seats. For General: 54 seats.(11 reserved for SC and 5 for ST candidates) 2 seats reserved for Physically challenged candidates (with disability in one leg or one arm and partially deaf) out of total seats.

ELIGIBILITY: Passed 10th or equivalent ten years of recognised study (or any other recognised higher examination with Mathematics and Science subjects) securing minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST). For wards of Kashmiri migrants 10% relaxation will be given. Those who have appeared in the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply.

AGE: Those born after 1st September(1st September, 1986 for SC/ST candidates), are eligible to apply.

HOW TO APPLY:
Application form with prospectus may be obtained from the office of the Principal ISTC on payment of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST) (examination fee included) on any working day between 9.30 A.M. and 12.30 P.M. from 15th May, 2008 to 20th June, 2008 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays). If required by mail send a demand draft for the same amount issued on or after 15.05.2008, drawn on State Bank of India, Sector 30, Chandigarh (Code 1443) in favour of Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh, along with a self addressed slip of size 18cm X 8cm. Postage stamp for Rs.60/- is to be affixed on top right corner of the slip. Such a request should reach the office of the Principal by 12th June, 2008.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Receipt of filled Application forms: 15.05.2008 to 20-06-2008 9.30 am to 12.45 P.M.
Last Date for filled in application forms: 23-06-2008 (last day only) 9.30 am to 5 pm.

Punjab Pvt. Medical Colleges charging advance fee

Punjab Pvt. Medical Colleges charging advance fee – The parents of students of MBBS Batch -2007 Friday urged Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and Medical Education Minister Tikhshan Sood to give directions to Adesh Institute of medical science and Research (AIMSR) not to take fee in advance of second professional year.

The Adesh institute medical sciences and research (AIMSR) has directed all the students of batch 2007 students of MBBS to deposit the tuition fee and other dues for the session 2008-09 by June 24. The notice which was displayed at notice board of AISMR instructed that fine will be levied on those students who will not deposit fee on time. Whereas the prospectus given to batch 2007 students, has clearly mentioned that 2ndinstallment fee for the year 2008-09 will be deposited by July 16, 2008.

Parents said that since students who have got admission in Government and management quota of MBBS have deposited fees in month of September last year as per increased fee structure by over three times.
