IUCAA-NCRA Admission Test [INAT] – 2011

(For Research Scholarship (to do Ph.D) in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Physics)

Eligibility

Applications are invited from students who expect to complete their M.Sc or B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degrees by August 2012 with more than 55% marks. In addition, talented final-year B.Sc, 1st year M.Sc and 2nd/3rd year B.E/B.Tech students may also apply to be Pre-Selected for a research scholarship towards a Ph.D at IUCAA for Physics or Astronomy and Astrophysics or at NCRA-TIFR for Astronomy and Astrophysics. Students in any branch of the B.E, B.Tech, M.E or M.Tech degrees, or in the Physics, Electronics, Astronomy or Applied Mathematics branches of the B.Sc. or M.Sc. degrees, are eligible to apply for INAT-2011. Students who have already completed any of the above degrees are also eligible.

Integrated B.Tech Programme for Hearing Impaired Admission 2009-10

Applications are invited from the Hearing Impaired students who have passed X std. (both Tamil and English medium) for admission into 6-year Integrated B.Tech Programme in the following branches

(a) Computer Science and Engineering
(b) Mechanical Engineering
(c) Information Technology
(d) Civil Engineering

Students who will be completing X std during May/June 2009 are also eligible admission

Admission procedure: Admission is based on the performance in the Entrance examination conducted by the Kalasalingam University on 20.06.2009. Maximum age limit for admission is 20 years as on 01.07.2009
