Admission Notice 2009

Applications are invited for admission to the following Programmes:

1. Ph.D. (Education): Admission in the Month of August, 2009.

2. M.Phil (Education) Full-time & Part-time: Admission through written test & interview. Contact the Department of Education (CIE) office, by the first week of July, 2009.

3. M.Ed.: Full-time (one-year) and Part-time (two-years)

4. B.EI.Ed. (Bachelor of Elementary Education): Four-year-full-time Programme after 10+2 Presently for women candidates only.

5. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) Full-time (one-year): After Graduation

Admission to programs at S. No. 2 -5 are made through a Common Entrance Test and Interview etc. Candidates are required to go through the respective prospectus for details

Candidates desirous of obtaining the prospectus by post, should send their request at the above address, mentioning the name of the programme (in the application, as well as, on top of the envelope) by the date specified above along with: (1) A Bank Draft of Rs 425/- (Rs. Four Hundred Twenty Five only) including application fee & postal charges *from a Nationalised Bank, payable at Delhi in favour of Dean, Faculty of Education, University of Delhi, and (2) A self-addressed envelope A-4 size (29.5 cm x 21 cm)

Note: (i) Candidates should retain a copy of the draft for making entries in the application form.
(ii) Sale of Prospectus is against draft only.
(iii) Cash/M.O./Cheque/I.P.O. etc will not be accepted.
(iv) The department will not be responsible for any postal delay.
