CDC offers Fellowship to Engg. and MBA Students for Live Consulting Projects

Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) is an Autonomous organisation of Department of Scientific & Industrial research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India set up for promotion, development and strengthening of consultancy skills and capabilities in the country including enhancement of export of consultancy and professional services.

This innovative scheme from CDC aims at providing a fellowship to B.Tech / B.E ./ MBA students to undertake a live consulting project during the education programme, to encourage capacity building and professional development in the field of consulting and to support high quality innovative live consulting projects.

Eligibility requires interested Students to have atleast 80% marks in 10+2 in addition to being enrolled in T school for pursuing Engineering degree or B School for pursuing Management degree accredited by AICTE / UGC.

The Fellowship Amount  is Rs. 10,000/- for pursuing and completing the approved project.

Sir Ratan Tata Fellowship 2009 2010 – London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE)

Sir Ratan Tata Foundation at the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) invites applications for the ‘Sir Ratan Tata Fellowship.’ The fellowship will be for a period of eight months, preferably starting October 1, 2009, and will be based at the Asia Research Centre at the LSE. The fellow will receive a monthly subsistence allowance of up to £1500 a month, the exact amount depending on qualifications; and will be provided with office space and access to research facilities at the School.

Requirements:
Applicants should be established scholars in the social sciences with experience of research on South Asia; hold a PhD or comparable qualifications and experience. The Fellowship is open to candidates from the SAARC region. The topic of research should be under the following themes – poverty, inequality, human development and social exclusion; quality of public life; regional disparities; identities – gender, ethnicity, language or economy and environment with preference given to topics that focus on contemporary social and economic concerns of South Asia. CR Parekh Fellowship 2009/10

The London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) invites applications for the ‘CR Parekh Fellowship.’ The Fellowship will be for a period of three months, preferably starting October 1, 2009 and will be based at the Asia Research Centre at LSE. The fellow will receive a monthly subsistence allowance of up to £1200 a month, the exact amount depending on qualifications; and will be provided with office space and access to research facilities at the school. Topic of research should be under the following themes: poverty, inequality, human development and social exclusion; quality of public life; regional disparities; identities – gender, ethnicity, language; economy and environment; political structures and processes; constitutional debates. Preference will be given to topics that focus on social, economic, political and constitutional concerns of India.

Requirements:
