Applications are invited for admission to the B.Ed. programme
(Through the school of distance education for the year 2010-2011)
Approved by the distance education council (DEC), New Delhi and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
Eligibility: Teachers serving in recognized schools with a minimum of two years of teaching experience are eligible for admission to the programme.
UG or PG in any one of the subjects: Tamil, English, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science
PG in Economics and Commerce both UG and PG must be in the same subject. For further details refer the website www.b-u.ac.in
Mode of selection: Based on the performance in the entrance examination and Tamilnadu state government communal reservation norms.
Duration: 2 years
Prospectus and application form can be obtained in person or by post from 07.12.2009 on requisition with a cost of Rs. 500/- in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of ‘The Director, School of Distance Education’, payable at Coimbatore and self-addressed stamped envelope (25”x35”) to the value of Rs. 50/-. Please note that cash payment will not be accepted. The cost of application form once paid will not be refunded. Candidates can also download the application form and other details from the website www.b-u.ac.in and submit the filled in application form with required fee of Rs. 500/-. The envelope may be superscribed as ‘Application for B.Ed.’
