ADMISSION NOTICE FOR PART TIME DIPLOMA COURSES at Govt. Polytechnic, Ambala City

It is notified for the information of the deserving candidates that the admission to the 4 Year Part Time Diploma Courses in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 80 & 40 respectively shall be conducted on the basis of merit as detailed in Prospectus 2008 at Govt. Polytechnic, Ambala City as per the following schedule.

Receipt of Application at G.P. Ambala City: 31-07-08 to 14-08-08 (upto 5:00 PM)

Date of Counseling
Elect. Engineering : 19-08-08 (10:00 AM)
Mech. Engineering: 20-08-08 (10:00 AM)

Eligibility Conditions for candidates seeking admission to Part Time Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering is given below:

1.
a) Must have passed Matriculation from the recognized board/university.
b) Must have passed ITI course of two years duration and must possess a working experience of at least one year in the relevant field.
Or
Must have passed 10+2 Vocational Course in the relevant field and must possess a working experience of at least one year in the relevant field.
Or
Must have passed ITI course of one Year duration in the relevant field and must possess a working experience of at least two years in the relevant field.
Or
Must have passed matriculation from a recognized board/university & must also possess a working experience of at least 3 years in the relevant field.

NOTE:
Working Experience should be in Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous/Pvt. Organization or self employed in the relevant field. Experience gained before 14 years of age & before passing qualifying exam shall not be considered.

2. AGE
Minimum age limit for admission is 18 years as on the date of counseling.
