NIMCET 09 (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test 2009)
The entrance test for admission to first year of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme of eleven NITs for the academic session 2009-2010 (NIMCET09) will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at all NITs.
Eligibility: Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examination of 12th Standard and Bachelor’s Degree of Full Time 3 year duration from a recognized University with Mathematics/Statistics/ Business Mathematics as one of the subjects and with mathematics at 12th level are eligible.
How to apply: Candidates may apply on-line through the website After on-line submission duly signed printed copy of the application along with Bank DD of Rs 700 (Rs 350 for SC/ST) drawn in favour of NIMCET09 payable at Allahabad is to be submitted to the Chairman, NIMCET09, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Allahabad-211004.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of Rank in the NIMCET09 examinations only.

Closing date for On-line Application Form: Friday, March 27, 2009
Last date for receipt of printed copy of application (filled on-line) along with requisite DD by post/hand: Monday, April 6, 2009
