About NAARM: The National Academy of Agriculture Research Management (NAARM) was established in 1976, at Hyderabad, to fulfill the important need for an institution of management in agricultural research and education. NAARM is one of the five National Institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), the apex body of the country for promoting agricultural research, education and extension education.

Course Highlights: The one-year fully residential course offers opportunity to systematically study the subject of intellectual Property (IP) and Technology Management in Agriculture. The curriculum is designed with the help of leading experts from the Academic including Law Schools, Government and Private Sector, KPOs with a focus on building strong linkages with the corporate sector, research institutions, statutory and regulatory bodies.

Course Content: The course includes key modules on general management, intellectual property law and technology and innovation management covering topics on national and international policy as well as legal and administrative aspects including case studies. The course is also designed to provide an overall understanding of various stages of technology development and transfer in agriculture sector. Intricacies of IP management and innovation life cycle process towards entrepreneurship development would be explained through appropriate tools and techniques.

Teaching Methods: Interactive lectures (through web casting and class room) with live case studies and illustrations, simulation-based practical sessions, assignments and moot court will form the basis of the teaching methodology. A course end module on project work will need to be undertaken with identified institutions including law firms, industry, IP and technology management related institutions in public and private sector.

Eligibility: Minimum of 60% or equivalent CGPA in undergraduate degree* in any branch of Agriculture and allied sciences, engineering & technology (or) Postgraduate in science and allied biological sciences *For SC/ST/OBC/PH (50% or Above)

Admission Process
● Application forms may be filled as per the format given along side or downloaded from website www.naarm.ernet.in. The filled application form may be mailed by speed post or courier to the Director, National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Rejendranagar, Hyderbad-500407 along with the application fee.
● Application may also be sent through Fax (040-24581429/040-24581453/040-24015912) with a copy of the DD. Applicants sending through fax may retain the DD towards application fee and bring it to the test centre on the date of examination.
● Applicants eligible for the test will be informed through announcement on NAARM website and through phone/email/post.
● Further Selection will be through Written Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Interview at Five locations (Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkata).
