Punjab Pvt. Medical Colleges charging advance fee – The parents of students of MBBS Batch -2007 Friday urged Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and Medical Education Minister Tikhshan Sood to give directions to Adesh Institute of medical science and Research (AIMSR) not to take fee in advance of second professional year.

The Adesh institute medical sciences and research (AIMSR) has directed all the students of batch 2007 students of MBBS to deposit the tuition fee and other dues for the session 2008-09 by June 24. The notice which was displayed at notice board of AISMR instructed that fine will be levied on those students who will not deposit fee on time. Whereas the prospectus given to batch 2007 students, has clearly mentioned that 2ndinstallment fee for the year 2008-09 will be deposited by July 16, 2008.

Parents said that since students who have got admission in Government and management quota of MBBS have deposited fees in month of September last year as per increased fee structure by over three times.
