Admission for Ph.D – January 2010
Rajiv Gandhi centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) has major research programs in Disease Biology and Molecular Medicine as well as Plant Biotechnology and Discovery.
Applications are invited from Postgraduates in life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Biotechnology, Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences for our PhD program, currently affiliated to University of Kerala.
General category applicants must have first class or above throughout and valid Research Fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/KSCSTE or category A of DBT and should be less than 28 years of age as on June 1 of 2010.
SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks, will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempt from processing fees.

Completed applications along with the required fees may be submitted to the undersigned on or before December 14, 2009.
Names of short-listed candidates will be put up on the RGCB website and will also be notified by email by December 21, 2009.
A selection interview will be held at RGCB on Monday, January 11, 2010.
No Ta/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
