Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to Medical and Dental PG courses (recognized by Medical council of India and Dental council of India respectively) in the following specialities for the academic year 2010-11
Postgraduate degree and diploma courses (Clinical)
Group – A
MD: General Medicine, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Radio-diagnosis, Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Pathology, Psychiatry
MS: General surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology
Diploma in: Child health (D.C.H.), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (D.G.O.), Anaesthesiology (D.A.), Orthopaedics (D.Ortho), Ophthalmology (D.O.), Otorhinolaryngology (D.L.O.), Medical Radio-diagnosis (D.M.R.D.), Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy (D.D.V.L), Psychiatry (D.P.M.)
Postgraduate degree courses (non-clinical)
Group – B
MD: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine
Eligibility for group A and group B: MBBS degree and completion of internship on or before 31.03.2010
Note – Separate application form should be submitted for group-A courses and group-B courses
Postgraduate degree courses in Dentistry
Group – C
MDS: Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology
Eligibility: BDS degree and completion of internship on or before 31.03.2010
Selection will be made on merit, based on the marks secured in the entrance examination conducted by this university on All India basis. No domicile restriction and candidates belonging to any state/union territory of India can apply.
Prospectus and application form for entrance examination may be obtained either by downloading from the website www.sriramchandra.edu.in or from the Registrar on requisition with a demand draft for Rs 775/- (Rupees seven hundred and seventy five only) drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Sri Ramchandra University, Porur, Chennai-116’ or in person by paying Rs 700/- (rupees seven hundred only) at the university office.
Application forms will be issued from: 02.12.2009 (Wednesday)
Last date for issue of application forms: 24.12.2009 (Thursday)
Last date for receipt of filled in application forms: 04.01.2010 (Monday)
