Admission Notice
The Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India (ICWAI) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, i.e. The Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 (23 of 1959). ICWAI has introduced a course of Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) for one year duration to meet the heavy demand for Accountants at junior level in India.
Eligibility
▪ Foundation Course (Part-I): Passed 10+2 examination or appeared
▪ Competency Level (Part-II): Graduation in any discipline
(Candidates appeared in examination and awaiting result may also apply for provisional admission)
The CAT course is designed to equip and train the students in the maintenance of accounts, filling of returns under income tax, VAT, service tax, central excise and custom act, export & import documentation etc. The course is available in English and Hindi medium both. Coaching fee for the entire CAT course is Rs 8,600/- (Inclusive of fee for 60 hours computer training and registration for Practical Training of 6 months).
Students can pursue the course through 110 centres across the country. Examinations are held in June and December every year at 80 examinations centers in India and 6 centres abroad
